Transparent, heat resistance resistant PEEK film adhesive tape
Chukoh Chemical Industries, Ltd. has developed a transparent, highly heat-resistant PEEK film adhesive tape, "xACH-5101," for the purpose of improving visibility during masking and temporary fixation in the reflow process.
Polyimide adhesive tapes are commonly used for masking and temporary fixation in the reflow process, but most polyimide adhesive tapes are brown and semi-transparent, which can cause problems such as making it difficult to see the markers on masked parts. This product is transparent and has excellent heat resistance, so it is recommended for applications where you want to improve visibility when masking in high-temperature environments below 250°C.
Product details
This adhesive tape has a highly transparent PEEK film coated on one side with a mildly adhesive, highly heat-resistant silicone adhesive. In addition to the high heat resistance of the PEEK film, it is highly transparent, allowing for reflow and appearance inspection after masking.
